It was official from the moment I first laid eyes on him, I love him to the moon and back! This cute little romper from Little Urban Apparel is so sweet yet so cool. For those living in more chilly temperatures such as northern England, you can layer it over long sleeved baby-grows to keep those baby goose-bumps away.

Where the weeks go I have no idea, my aim was to try and write a blog post once a week but it’s now proving slightly difficult. Hugo is so much more alert now & when he’s napping, I’m like a mad woman doing house chores or trying to catch up on emails etc and when night time comes I’m ready to just switch off and retire to bed. How boring am I or is that just normal mum life for you? From now on I’m not going to put any expectations on myself and I’m just going to write as and when I can. Ultimately I want to spend as much time as I can playing and spending time with Hugo so if that means a blog post has to hang fire for another week, then so be it! There just aren’t enough hours in the day, it seems. For any of you mum bloggers out there, please enlighten me and tell me how you do it and when you find the time?!
On a more positive note since we moved Hugo into his own room two weeks ago it seems that he’s put himself into a routine, whether it’ll last or not I have no idea but I’m actually quite enjoying it as I know what to expect more. He now goes to bed between 6.30pm-8pm and has a late morning and afternoon nap. It’s always been one of those things that I struggled with, to do the same thing every night at exactly the same time. I’d listen to other mums who would be telling me what they do and how their little one goes to bed at such a time, sleeps for this long then during the day has nap times at this and that time. Whereas for me it was so different from one day to the next but I guess nature takes its own path as this little man did it all by himself. So for any of you mums who are going through what I went through then try not to worry as I’m sure your baby will soon develop his/her own perfect timing.
I hope you have a great week and remember that you work to live and not the other way around!
Lots of love
Sally & 5 month old Hugo
