If you’re a mum of boys I don’t know if you feel like me but I always feel likes girls’ clothes are so much cuter and prettier than boys. I’ll walk into high street stores and wander through the girls sections running my hands along different pieces that catch my eye thinking ‘if I had a little girl I’d totally buy that’ and then the boys section just doesn’t cut it the same… I feel like I’m often just settling for something thinking ‘that’ll do’. It’s a good job I have a few nieces so at least I can still get that satisfaction of buying some of these beautiful girly pieces.
When Kide Fashion contacted me and asked if I wanted to collaborate I was thinking in my head it’s going to be another ‘no’ because I get often asked to collaborate with different brands which, in all honesty, just aren’t my style and so I’m firm in only ever endorsing items that I truly love and would genuinely put in a shopping basket. When I started looking through their website, I was taken aback because I didn’t just like the clothes – I LOVED them! This little outfit Hugo is wearing in these pics is my perfect little outfit for him. It’s exactly the kind of style that I’ve always wanted to dress him in. I literally can’t express how happy I was to have found a brand like it or, I guess, for us to have found each other. They only asked me to share a post on Instagram but because I love their clothes so much I wanted to share about them on here too, plus I quite like these photos :).
Our outfits are quite complimentary don’t you think?
He’s such a handsome little man, pictures like this just make me want to smother those lips with kisses hehe. He’s also looking at me very willingly here because I was trying to bribe him with choccie so he wouldn’t keep running away.
This is my youngest little niece Jemima who’s 10 weeks older than Hugo, they’re like two peas in a pod and absolutely adore each other.
For Hugo I chose these pieces:
Blue Stripe Shirt by Sissone (this is now in sale)
Taupe Saruel Trousers by Sissone (this is in the sale too :))
These clothes are mainly made from linen with the shirt having a small mix of cotton in there too so they’re great for washing and keeping as good as new.
I was going to add a few other links of my favourites but there’s so many I like and want… so you can take a look here instead and FYI they have an amazing sale on at the moment too so it’s a great time to shop :).
My dress was from Zara which I can’t see anymore but they do have a similar one here for £29.99.
Oh and just to warn you, you’ll see a lot more of Hugo in this outfit coming up as it’s quickly become our favourite as it’s so cool and comfy!
Hope you’ve all been keeping well, I’ve been so addicted to the Olympics this year and so proud of Team GB, they’ve done absolutely amazing! The velodrome events especially have got me hooked, I can’t tell you how many times I felt like my heart was beating out of my chest in those medal events.
Have a great week!
Love Sally
