Outfit Blurb…

As you probably know by now, I’m a grey, white & navy wardrobe kinda gal but when I received this gorgeous berry red plaid shirt from Madewell and teamed it up with these dungarees, I fell in love with the whole relaxed, oversized vibe straight away. Is it possible that wearing something with a splash of colour can actually make you feel more fun and vibrant? I thought I’d go the extra mile by bringing out my old bright pink/red lippy from Mac, too ;).

Happy 1st December everyone… Christmas is definitely in the air! I think this is the earliest I’ve ever got into the Christmas spirit this year as we took Hugo to see Santa last week and I can’t tell you how magical it was. Hugo was in awe of all the twinkling lights but my fave bit was when the elves came to collect us to meet Santa, who was the most regal and authentic-looking Santa I’ve ever seen by the way! We had a yummy lunch and then perused all the Christmas decorations and winter plants and had the best time watching Hugo dance for the first time in front of a large festive musical display. So many people stopped as they walked by ‘oooing’ and ‘aaaahhing’ at how cute he was being. He was honestly THE cutest little mancub bopping and twisting away. We then headed home and found a radio station that plays nothing but Christmas tunes, which has been on in my car ever since… Smooth Christmas FM.

I’m not going to lie to you though, the past two / three weeks have been pretty tough. Hugo has had two more teeth cut through, which meant a low immune system where he has once again caught a really bad cough and cold. This always goes hand-in-hand with not sleeping well, being up through the night and then being up extra early! All such a lovely treat for Ayman and I. Due to all this it’s meant that we too have become very over tired, run down and of course as an end result we have caught everything that Hugo has. Normally for me a cough and cold would last a few days but I’ve not been able to shift it this time and so I’ve felt pretty rubbish for what will be two weeks on Thursday. On top of that I have had to work day and night as we’re about to finally launch our new jewellery website and also new jewellery store THIS WEEK, so I’ve had no time to rest let alone think about blogging either.

I’m actually really pushing myself writing this now as I really should have an early night, so on that note it’s time to wrap it up. I’ll be writing another blog post very soon about the launch of our new jewellery website and sharing all about what I do… I am so excited to finally share this with you as I’m so proud of how it’s looking! I’ve learnt so much about the whole nuts and bolts of a website and I applaud all of you who work in this sector as you have to pay so much attention to every little detail! I’m actually pretty chuffed with myself that I’ve been able to do what I’ve done, I’ve put blood, sweat and tears into this new project but it’ll all be worth it I’m sure.

Until then, have a truly great week and keep on spreading the love and sparkle in this magical month!
