I thought I’d write a super short and sweet blog post sharing some of the pretty, charming and quite frankly Instagrammable places I recently visited in London. These were all visited in the space of about 8 hours over two separate days. It just goes to show how much Instagram work you can get done in a day! I was like a woman on a mission haha, I hope you enjoy…

Peggy Porschen Parlour

116 Ebury Street, Belgravia, London, SW1W 9QQ

A very popular place to enjoy a cake or two and whilst you’re at it, take a snap in-front of their beautifully adorned shop front. Often revamped to compliment the seasons and special celebrations in the UK. You can’t book a table here so you just have to turn up and pray that there isn’t a massive queue or do what we did and literally stop by for a quick photo and move on.

A word of warning, you will have people watching you take the photo so take a deep breath and just go for it, you’ll be so proud of yourself after and you’ll have a beautiful photo to keep forever! No regrets!

Les Senteurs

71 Elizabeth Street, Belgravia, London, SW1W 9PJ

This is just down the road from Peggy Porschen so great to pop by at the same time. I’m not sure if their store front is always this pretty but definitely worth the visit if it is.

So pretty and colourful!

Élan Cafe

I visited their Park Lane cafe at 48 Park Lane, Mayfair, London, W1K 1PR

Next time I’m definitely going to visit their other branch too: 239 Brompton Road, Knightsbridge, London, SW3 2EP

Don’t be fooled by how small this little cafe is because the food is scrumptious! I have coeliacs disease so I always feel let down when places don’t cater for me but not here! I had THE yummiest cake which will leave an everlasting impression on me haha and all their savoury food looked absolutely sublime too!

They were really accommodating and friendly too – highly recommend.

Show stopper No 4:

John & Jessie Florists of Kensington

131e Kensington Church Street, London, W8 7LP

Before you head to the colourful streets of Notting Hill you need to equip yourself with some fresh flowers for the photos – or at least that’s my mantra! This is just around the corner from the colourful pastel houses we all know and love. If you’re anything like me and not sure what to do with your hands when getting a photo of yourself then flowers are always the answer and they make for a pretty photo too.

Jessie – one of the owners – could not have been any nicer and down-to-earth and the assortment of flowers and filigree they offered were out of this world and great prices too! Also they just so happen be right next to this gorgeous house – I know what you’re thinking, rude not to take a photo, I agree 😀

Show stopper No 5:

Notting Hill Pastel Houses

Farmer Street, Notting Hill, W8 7SN

You won’t be short of pretty houses here! Around this whole area there are so many charming and colourful streets, so take a stroll around and enjoy the views and photos on the way! You’re onto a winner if you find a beauty of a car directly outside one of the stunning houses.

These are serious house goals and will have you lusting after all of them!

Show stopper No 6:

The Ivy Chelsea Garden

195 -197 King’s Road, London, SW3 5EQ

Just WOW!! The most insane flower wall I ever did see. It’s absolutely stunning!

We didn’t actually go inside on this occasion as we were running out of time but it’s on my bucket list and a must for when I next visit. It looks gorgeous inside too and I’ve heard nothing but great reviews about the food and drinks here.

Show stopper No 7:

Wild Things Mayfair – Luxury Florist

47 Davies Street, Mayfair, London, W1K 4LY

Sorry about my poor attempt at getting a #fwis (from where I stand) photo, I didn’t have the best footwear attire for this moment haha. This florist is most famous for its beautiful floral buckets that they have just outside their shop. So cute in October when they put mini pumpkins in it too.

If you’ve found this blog post useful then please let me know as I’ll continue to share more pretty places as and when I visit them! And on the contrary please leave other suggestions of other ‘must visit’ places for me to go and explore next time I’m in the city!

One final thing to add if you are thinking of going to a few of these places – outfits! Maybe take a couple of different accessories with you so you can switch it up a bit so it doesn’t look like you’ve taken them all on the same day :).

Thanks so much for reading, have a great Easter! I’ll be living it up in another pretty country – the Amalfi Coast in southern Italy… eeek, just a tad excited!

Lots of love

Sally
