A shake a day keeps the overwhelm away 🤣⚡️ A shake a day keeps the overwhelm away 🤣⚡️ It's true! It decreases stress and increases calm especially after you stop moving and feel the resonance of the energy you've just created 💫 In most of the classes I offer you'll know I incorporate some kind of shaking because it honestly makes you feel sooooo good. I'm curious who follows me and has been to one of my events this year, who has enjoyed shaking it all out? Animals naturally shake it off after a fight, when wet, or another situation and it's a way of signalling to the brain that they are not in danger anymore and can calm the fight or flight response to calm the sympathetic nervous system. If they don't shake it out, they often die 😳 (from what I've read anyway). As humans we do this too but we learn to stop doing it because of judgement from others. For example if you trap your finger by accident what do you do? Hold it and shake it? Toddlers shake it out when they're angry until they've released the pent up emotion and regulated themselves again. As adults what do we do? What do you do? I invite you to try the shake out, if you want to release any sounds too even more amazing. LET IT ALL GO...better out than in as they say 😁😜 Let me know if you try it and how you feel after? 🥰 ...... I am on a journey of unbecoming everything I 'thin I am on a journey of unbecoming everything I 'think' I should 'be' to become everything I truly am 🌟 A rite of passage as I peel off the layers and rediscover parts of myself that have been hidden for too long and new parts of myself that feel completely new but with an ancient remembering that I'm unearthing a way of being that has been in my soul's dna for longer than this lifetime. It feels familiar like my soul is reminding me of who I came here to be. It's easy to get swept up by life and the roles we play, the constant jobs that need doing and even feel like this is our reason for being here. Yes it's a part of it. Being a mum to 3 boys is a part of my soul's journey in this lifetime but it's not my only soul's purpose. What do you believe? I also believe there is an ocean yet to be discovered in the depth of your soul and it continually evolves through life and with life. I believe there's a place within you that feels complete, whole and fully alive without anything or anyone having to add to that. This is the part of you that I'm so curious to get to know. Who are you underneath what people visually 'see' about you? Who are you underneath all the 'stuff' you have? Who are you past all the people you 'know' in your life? Who are you underneath all the qualifications and titles you've earned or maybe been given because of your lineage? Who are you underneath your name, your relationships, your careers, your jobs, your roles? What lights your soul on fire 🔥 This is also what I'm so curious to keep discovering within myself. Becoming less attached to what's out there and more attuned and connected to what's going on inside here, my heart, my soul, my internal landscape... The essence of who I really am.
