Reminiscing to this time last year and the moment I found out I was expecting our first child… I remember so vividly taking the pregnancy test home with me whilst it never actually REALLY occurred to me that I could possibly be pregnant. I was counting down the minutes and with every second another line started to appear. From that moment to now sharing every day with him, it couldn’t have happened at a more perfect time… they do say God’s timing is for the best!. I’ve found that having a blog isn’t just for my readers but just as much for me, like a journal as I get to look back and see how my life has shaped over time. I’m absolutely loving going down the mummy blogger avenue now and feel so blessed as I’m starting to collaborate with such amazing brands.
One of these brands which I’ve already mentioned on a previous post is Huxbaby; an Australian brand who sent this gorgeous big dot romper for Hugo. I just want to mention I’ve only just got used to calling them rompers as to me I’ve always called them baby grows, is that an English thing, I dunno?! It feels such amazing quality, with a lovely soft thickness to the material and (with my ‘mummy hat’ on) I knew it would wash well. The design is so simple and stylish and so comfortable for babies to be rolling around in too. I teamed it with Hugo’s first pair of baby moccasins which are oh so cute from Sincerely Ryleigh and they have little laces on them so they do actually stay on his feet.
I know you’re most interested in Hugo’s outfit 🙂 but I’m wearing a pair of ripped skinnies from ASOS and this gorgeous oversized jumper from Zara that was in the sale (I can’t see it online but I only bought it in-store last week). Is it really bad to wear the same jumper all week because that’s what I’ve just done, it’s too easy to throw on plus it’s so snuggly in this cold weather!
Please feel free to ask me any questions about anything related or non related to this post or to just simply leave feedback. I love reading what you write and I appreciate every one who takes time out to just look at my blog!
Lots of love
